If you click the "help" button on your recording screen the bottom of the entry it opens will list the following three possibilities:

IMA ADPCM (8 KHz sampling rate, 4 bits per sample, monophonic)
PC (8 KHz sampling rate, 16 bits per sample, monophonic)
CCITT uLaw (8 KHz sampling rate, 8 bits per sample, monophonic)

One of these formats no longer works on R6.5 systems per a support case I had last year, but I can't remeber which one it is.

Rich; Any idea what it means when importing a wav and you get the following error:

Compression formats of the file and the NBX system do not match!

File's compression format: APDCM
NBX's compression format: APDCM

I've tried many multiple exports of the original MP3 we received in the above formats and it always returns that same message.

Same problem here. None of the formats will work.

Tested: You can make recordings with Sound Recorder. This can be found by clicking start/all programs/accessories/entertainment. You can upload this to your NBX system.
