I have a location with a V3000 on R5.0.12 (I know it's old...but our contract has been expired for some time). They recently moved & have setup a new phone number with a new TelCo. It appears that a user has recently noticed that they are not recieving all of their voicemails from outside callers since clients have been complaining about non-returned calls. We did some testing & noticed that the lines weren't clearing right away after a call was terminated & have a ticket in with the TelCo to enable disconnect supervision.

Could there be any other reasons for voicemails not being delivered? Or should the disconnect supervision resolve this issue?

Also, I believe that I may have a newer release available that was previously downloaded for another V3000 at one of our other offices. Could I apply this to this box? Or is there a license that needs to be purchased?

Thanks in advanced for the help!

I believe that 5.0.31 is the latest version that was released on the 5.0.x line.
You can install 5.0.31 for free. you get all the updates for your licensed software version. You cannot however install 6.0.x or 6.5.x software as these will require a license key.

You should definitely upgrade to 5.0.31. Also, make sure that they do not have voicemail on the line from the TelCo...
