Hey thanks for the reply. Is how to do this in the Administrator guide? Or can you point me to other material so I can understand what to do?

Call forwards 3COM V3000

Hello,

I have a 3COM V3000 R6_0_49. I have 2 lines that ring at the receptions phone even though these users have been removed from the system (users left company but still receive calls). Can anyone recommend how to configure the NBX so these lines do not ring at the receptionist phone?

Thanks

Extensions should be of 0 digits!

Thanks Cobra .. it was definitely an IE issue .. I wish 3COM (aka HP) had released one last software update including compatibility with IE8 before they discontinued the NBX ... Microsoft has recently released a statement that support for IE6 will no longer be available in the near future .. seems like I've been seeing the word "discontinued" show up more than I'd like lately...

NBX UPS Issues

Nope. We've had our NBX stay up for outages in excess of one hour (also protected by APC UPS).

Just to be clear: when you say it "rebooted", did it shut down completely, only to reboot when power returned? Or, did it reboot while on battery power?

Do you have anything other than the power cable connected between the NBX and the UPS?

Dave
NBX UPS Issues

I have had two separate NBXs now go offline during a power outtage while connected to active ports on APC UPSs. By Active I mean ports that supply both power and conditioning, as opposed to just conditioning but no power in case of failure. They were different models of UPS, but in both cases a relatively short power outtage lasting a few seconds saw the servers and POE switches that were plugged into the UPS stay running while the NBX rebooted.

The first one was about a year ago, the second happened today. Has anyone else run into issues like this?
